@Amnesia Foreign Exchange. This ones a bit uptempo for current hip hop, but it gives me visions of Bruce Lee clearing out an underground lair. Seems more movie soundtrack than hip hop, but I dont think thats a bad thing. I like it.
Day Dreaming seems like its more house than hip hop. Not really feeling this one so much, I suppose with the right rapper it could become hip hop.

@dino_morrison The bass is really up front on this, I think it could sit back a little more and the drums to be more prominent. I think if the drums were a lot louder then the bass will be fine, as it is the bass dominates everything. 15 years off man, I thought my 7 was bad. Welcome back to it, I was a bit rusty when I came back but it didnt take too long to get it back together again. Welcome to ill or back to ill, whatever the case may be.

@hosie Dilla Remix. I love this, funky as hell. Love the variation. I wouldnt want to change a thing.

@Amnesia Love to hate. This sounds like drum n bass. Would you be interested in a collab on this? Or let me do a dnb remix?

@Yomni Those strings are from BBC Symphony Orchestra VST, the free one.

I'd love to hear your DNB remix.

This is my first beat in such style. Looking forward to your opinion about this work.

This is nice. Not sure why but this sample sounds like something from Star Trek lol. Mixing is well done, all of the elements blend nicely.

The previous sample wasn't hitting hard enough. The drum pattern was better suited for DNB as you suggested lol

Heres my remix of your track, Im really happy with it. I just used your version, managed to get it before you deleted it lol. I side chained a compressor to duck your snares and filtered out the low end and worked with it.

@hosie Very nice job brother! I like how you left space between the chops, it really opens up the thing for the vocal to come through. I would bring up the drums a little bit if it was me. Volume and sound selection could hit harder. But also, it seems like you intended for the drums to be understated. If that's what you were going for then that's awesome also. Great job!

regarding the second beat. I feel like this sample chop is kind of hectic, all over the place. Very interesting nonetheless brother. Very unique and interesting!

@Yomni Very nice job man. I like the sound selection and melodies on both tracks. I don't know much about this style of music, so no real advice from me. Awesome job!

@Amnesia Wow! I really enjoyed both of these. You really understand how to swing drums. Sound selection is great also. Fantastic work!

@dino_morrison Hey nice job man. I think there is definitely some work to be done on the drums, the pattern seems a little bit off. Also the beat is kind of repetitive, nothing really changes throughout the arrangement. But Very unique sound selection brother.

Might as join the trap/drill movement.

The piano @ 0:40 comes in nice and fit's well with the detuned loop. Maybe the loop is a little too much panned to the left. Drums are on point, but the highs are a little too harsh. The Bassline doesn't have the same key as the melody, don't know if it is intentional. I'd change it to fit the rest of the track.
Some change-ups could keep the listener more engaged as you did on the "arab money" beat (which I liked the most).

On some of the other tracks on your SC, the bassline is also out of tune with the rest of it. I think if you improve on this your tracks will get more "harmony".

Would've sounded even better with a clean sample but you did your thing. Classic DNB bass wub wub. This remix reminds me very much of Aphrodite.

I appreciate the feedback. Tuning my basslines is something I'm still working on. After a few more listens the snare and hi hats do need a little eq'ing. Thank you for pointing that out!

@2GooD Productions Fantastic bro, here's my feedback
Sweet Earth Flying Flip - I really enjoyed this one a lot. A few feedbacks. I feel like the timing on the drums were sometimes, in a non-swingy way. Also, there were some sections of the scratching that seemed like they were off time. But still, I love the vibe of these.
Bismilahhi - This beat is wicked. Everything about it bangs man. Especially that bassline and those vocal chops. Exceptional work
I don't want to lose you - This one is a banger too man. No criticisms

I have 2 beats for this week , all feedback is appreciated, thanks.

So In Luv

The Bad Guy

So In Luv:

I like the cutoff filter you used on this. The vinyl sound at the beginning of the beat is dope and IMO can be used throughout the beat (just subtile to add some texture as you did on "The Bad Guy").
The drums are a on the static/basic side and sounds somewhat flat in the mix. (Maybe a small reverb with a low cut bring them to life?) I think the one kick right before the snare doesn't have the right timing (too close to the snare). Bassline on this is on point and the sound of it fits the sample. The sample flip is kind of basic, I think you could've made it a little more interesting by chopping up the "so in love" verse...

The Bad Guy:

I like this one. Again nice filter work, goes well with the beat. Maybe the sample could be a little more up front, less resonating. Bassline solid. Sax goes well with it to get that 90's vibe. Some saturation/compression on the master bus could help to "glue" this all together.

Thanks @Rah.sool

So much good and in depth feedback from folk. Nice work. Nice one @2GooD Productions for hooking those who aren't delivering any feedback too. That's what it's all about.
