Started a bit of a move-around today - found out there's a bit of a slope to my attic floor and had to run out and get a new USB hub.
Presonus Faderport is either not working or not setup right... :-/
But new keyboard is working well in Studio One though :)

I'll post a pic tomorrow.

What mixer is that?
Looks like the smaller version of the Behringer X-Touch midi control surface...

I'd be interested in hearing a review.

I got myself a Presonus FaderPort for my birthday... Rate it for the money.

This is my 'Carpet Lab'.
Stacks neatly onto the bottom shelf of the TV stand.
Netbook is pretty slow - probably gonna move from Windows 7 to a Linux distro (not sure which one) and chop samples on there.
iPad running AppleMusic which is dope for digging.
I have a portable speaker (not shown) running out of the UCA222.
Won a synth in a comp last week which will probably join this rig but need to grab a small (2 octave) keyboard with a midi (din) out port first.

Linux! I haven't checked any programs lately, but I remember there were some decent ones like a drum machine and a few synths. What distro have you used before?

I haven't!!
Really just need an editor like Audacity to prep samples before chucking them on the CF-Card in the MPC.
Thinking Linux as I hear it's a lot less processor heavy than Windows 7...
Netbook (Acer AspireOne) only has a 1Ghz processor (AMD dualcore) and is sluggish to say the least...
Got me through my final year at uni tho :)

Although... A daw I can track out from the MPC into and then export (wavs) to my main studio would be good...
