^Yeah, just look at 9th Wonder. He uses FL for most of his work and put out solid beats for both "The Listening" and "The Minstral Show".
Pick up a MPD16 or Trigger Finger man. It's real similar to a MPC for the peole that are low on cash.
Oh and how much better are hardware compressors, EQs, etc. than software ones? Cuz lately, I've seen a lot of people with a set of them.

Granted... I DO have FL Studio, Reason 2.5, Rebirth 2 (it's free!!!), Cubase SX2, and a truckload of VSTi's and FX for my production, but I was lacking the keyboard to make it happen the way I want.

Well u dont have enough posts to get an avatar yet. ALso when you go to post go to manage attachments and go from there. Cause i dont know if Fade still has the IMG code on for newbies or not but if it is OFF when u go to reply make sure you are in the big screen instead of the quick reply the advanced reply. Scroll down under the box you should see Post Icons...Where it says Additional Opitions u should see Attach Files you can then post from there.

Actually, it's ok for me...even if I had more room, I'd probably still have everything wraping around me as I sit.......when working with multiple pieces, I don't want to have to reach/go to far to access'em......
I keep the keyboards close because I'll have them either MIDI controlling the 909's keyboard patches instead of using pads, or using the 909 to MIDI sequence the MO'PHATT's patches.....I have it set up a little different now though. The 2 keyboards are situated one over top of the other (MK-6 over top of the Triton Le now), the monitors are at each end of the L-shape desk. The AW-16G is where the MC909 was, and the 909 is where the MK-6 was, and the VAIO is were the AW was. and a couple crates of wax under the L-shape.....so everything is still at arms reach......Luckily we'll be moving next month, and the new spot has a den.......HTAHWAHS = Happier Than A HOBO With A HamSammich!!!!!
