I've been telling people for years to just make whatever comes naturally but this new generation is not listening. Now we have type beats and all the new shit sounds the same.

@Armani Beatstars basic is worth a go. Their contract templates are good. However the platform is oversaturated and heavily biased in favour of trap and flavour of the month stuff. I agree with OGBama that something has to give. I think supply has outstripped demand and it's a race to the bottom. Fade is right in saying that the best way to cut through is to network on social media. Think of Beatstars as the shop you lead them too. But if you have the time and inclination then try and form a partnership with a local artist or something and do something meaningful.
