No I don't but I saw a show on TV talking about this. There were several people that experienced this and they all came together at like a convention to talk about it. A study on this was published about a week ago in the BMC Neuroscience journal. I think it would scare the ish out me if I started seeing colors with sound.

What i'm saying is.. good way to get a musical superiority complex/feeling of magical purpose LOL.. unless it helps you make music, ur just seeing visuals which is kind of retarded. I think if you are seeing musical colours, then you should go research what's happening, try develop/maybe it can be used for something.

Nah never that, im a fairly concious guy...my head wont get big till make a certified hit...
Its definatly helpful when communicating with musicians when ur trying to get a certian vibe outta them. Its also how i pick my sounds if I start with a yellow synth ill match the rest of the sounds to that color...like u would ur shoes amd shirt. Its also good for whem it comes time to do the final sequence on an albym or mixtape. Im not trying to stunt or anything iceman i was just wondering since there are so many producers on the site if anyone had similar experiences and how they apply it.

LMAO... this topic has definitely come up before...it was funny then..it's funny now. I'm not a DOPE musician or producer so I definitely don't have it. Most people feel DOPE music....I personally don't care to taste and smell it. Specially if a producer thinks they're "the shit"....that would produce and AWFUL odor and a terrible taste I'd think.
I'm not with ICEMAN on much but I swear he hit the nail on the head with his comment....this ain't the first place I've read or heard this special gift but whomever was in discussion about it claimed to possess this powers really really felt they were the dopest dudes doing it. Funny thing is...most of them were in fact NOT doing it. They were still in the basement like most of us here but damn they had great potential...lmao
We need to find away to poll some platinum producers like Dr. Dre and them and see if this exist with them.
A few of them classical musicians also were certifiably CRAZY so there's no telling what other shit they experienced. They may have even experienced SUPER FUTURISTIC orgasms while producin' or sumfin.... (dying laffin') outter body Pluto experiences and things of that nature.

for example when I hear soulja boy, I see brown mostly .... lol j/k , personally I don't really see it as a gift, matter of fact most people associate colors with certain feelings/concepts etc ...

nah man....just poking fun. If you have it you have it. This quote unquote super musician that claim to have it or had it where history noted "not all together in the head" ooorrrrrrr maybe we are the crazy ones and not them. It's also documented that those of us who don't have one sense usually have hightened senses of another kind. That could explain someone being deaf having heightened senses of another kind.

This is a certified condition and has nothing do do with musical abilitity.. its just a matter of the neurons in your brain intersecting. (Ex sound neurons trigger your visual neurons). This is why some see colors, its different expernice for everyone who has it. Some people can taste sounds etc..
