Hey TriK Here! Im a new producer and im looking for help. I saw a ton of guides about secondary melodies with a crap ton of programs but i just cant do it anyone has any advice???

The trick is to start of gentle, take a listen to some tracks and make a note about how they use secondary melodies, get scientific about it and make notes.

thats not my problem man. My problem is that when i sit to the piano roll i just cant make a secondary melody. But ill give it a shot tho. Thnx!

are you referring to harmony?

try to get the main chords or note or key etc...and work your way around that.

i mostly hum until i get a good idea of what i want.
