You can't even do constructive audio editing in Reason. It doesn't handle audio files in the same manner as Cubase or Pro Tools. It's based on Midi theories and practices which limits it in my opinion.

But the good thing is, you can rewire Reason to use with other software.

i will agree that rewire seems to make up for the lack of editing ability. this way, if you have protools, you can edit your piece further. this is what i do anyway. in
