What are some good sample editing programs for mac? I've been using Recycle 2.0 and then transferring the slices to Reason 2.0. It's kind of a pain in the ass. I was wondering if there are any better programs out there? Or just good programs based on experience. For either mac or pc.

Hey,

The BEST wave editor in my opinion is Cool Edit. It's cheaper than the other guys, it has more powerful editing features than the other guys, and it has great DSP effects. And a multitrack.

But don't trust my word for it, ask anyone else here what they use...

Some other wave editors:

Sound Forge
Wavelab
Samplitude
Goldwave
Peak (mac)
Spark (mac)

Also, sequencers like Sonar and Cubase have internal wave editors, but frankly they suck compared to dedicated editors.

Take care,

Nick
