yea, it has two of the super analogue pre's that they got on the duality and adat/spdif in/out. Audio is done through usb 2.0, but the controller is run through ethernet.

good call, i've only used it twice, and didnt really fuck with the i/o in the back cuz it wasn't in my studio. Madi would be great, but i'm not sure theres a need for only 2 inputs. Madi is more for large format, unless I'm mistaking.

lol, i feel what your sayin bruh, but there aren't 16 channels of audio. Unfortunately, then we'd be looking at a $20,000 console instead of a 5,000 dollar console/controller hybrid. Basically, the Matrix.

if you aint hell bent on crazy mad expensive shit, i might suggest the yamaha n-8 or n-12. they both do a fn nice job of doing what you asked about in the first place, and it doubles up as your control surface/mixer. nuff said.
