is this the first time you have seen the d beam? thats pretty old technology these days.

Yeh the D-Beam is nice, but its on nearly everything Roland now.
Its bad that there is only a 4 track sequencer, but if you use it right and use some technical itelligence you could probably use it to create full beats.
You just have to layer more things up onto one track.
Still though it really is worth getting the MPC 1K.
