Rex loops

I just gave someone a beat that I made way back, and I just realized last night that back then I'd used a Rex loop for the percussion. I feel like an idiot... the guy insists that he doesn't want it changed, but I feel like I'm rippin someone off.

What do you guys suggest I do?

ive done it i dont see it as a big deal, its there for you to use and create.
I dont see whats so different then using that as opposed to using a sample, same thing.

i wouldnt be worried about it at all u had to do something rite for him to like it!!
but dont get twisted u can take that rexloop drum and put it in the redrum or nn-xt

yea it was put through a compressor and I worked with some of the sounds

as long as you freak it then u wont have no problems!! in the edn ias long as it sounds good and if he like it thats all that matters!!
