On a side note...

to add the regroove to the Redrum the tracks need to be added to the squencer. or I belive you can do the Global regroove and turn the knob thats at the bottom left of the rack by the play and stop buttons... I think. I am at work so I cant really give you the best directions.

dreampoice, ya that would work, but when you use rpg-8 it comes out as one note, so regroove doesn't work in that case, as regroove is built upon slightly shifting the midi keys to create that "groove". what i have to do if i want the mpc effect is just lay out the drum pattern in the sequencery, and then I have to go in afterwords and add the mpc groove to my liking. i mean its definitely possible, but i mean the workflow just isn't nearly as efficient as the mpc. i wonder if theres a mpc midi patch where it actually affects the smidi signal coming into the computer. that'd be pretty dope. lol if you're still following what i'm sayin props to you man. hahah

but yo for example, the mpd32 does all that with that note repeat button! i need to cop that. i hear its dope as hell and only 300ish!
