I'm interested in building more on my soundbank collection and would like to know which other Refills you are currently working with that you would recommend having.

Currently i've just got the '' Sonic Gold Bundle (20 Volumes) '', i've just been looking into the releases from the Triton & Fantom X so i may end up picking those up as they have recieved good reviews.

Edited:

Forgot to mentioned that i also have the '' Big Fish (Westcoast & Dirtysouth) CDs '' Also as anyone ever worked with any of these refills before '' Motif, Black II Black, Miroslav, Virology Refill '' can't find many more.

You have everything you need to get 'er done!
Synths 1
Synths 2
Rhythm Section
Pianos & Organs
Symphonic
OmniSoundz GM
Reality Drums
Monster Drums
Vintage Drums
Instruments of the 60's & 70's
Retro Keys
Acoustic Folk
World Percussion
Ethnic Instruments
Film Orchestra
Triple Bass
Triple Guitars
Synths 3
Vocal Textures
Mello-T

That "off the hook hip hop west coat and dirty south are monsters as well. Miroslav can't be beat as far as strings. If I were you I'd put more concentration toward making the sounds you have your own. Tweak them joints and you'll automatically double, triple etc the sounds you already have.

Other than sampling live sounds you have everything you need to make music for a decade! Reason 4.0 of course will have new sounds for Thor. Thor will change your sound dramatically. Don't buy another refill til the 26th of Sept. Thor sounds are amazing....check Propellerheads website to hear a little of what you'll be able to do with Thor.

Thanks for the reply, yes i know how it may seem with me already having plently of sounds and wanting more i was mainly asking if there were any others to add that would improve a certain area of sounds which you brought up on the '' Miroslav '' which i was thinking about picking up for more quality in strings.

I've only recently got the gold bundle so still have'nt view half of the soundbanks which i will most likely work on in the coming weeks now i have my homestudio finally together (ie Monitors, Room Treatment ect...)

I think i will probably move onto Reason 4 sometime next year as i'm still learning 3 at the moment, the thor device does look good though.

Good idea! No need jumping to 4.0 until you get a good understanding of Reason. Doing so will make the transition easier for you when you finally do. Master what you have then move on, smart move.
