Reason os driving me INSANE!!!

okay, this program is fresh and all,,BUT, I read alot, had some help,,,and I still can get shit right. I'm tryin to load my wav loop into the NN-XT,,,I have in loaded, next i cant hear shit. I read somewhere I need the Matrix thingy to play that shit. But when I play it in there, all I get is stabs and not the whole loop,,,aaarrrggghhh! Okay somebody help before I eat a homeless person from insanity,,,


I wanna do this:

Load a sample i chopped to perfection in soundfo0rge. load it into Reason via nn-xt. Fuck with the smaple and throw some drums and bass on it,,,,help meeeeeeeeee

Dam, it shouldnt be that hard tho....

Heres what u do:
After u got reason open and yer NNXT is ready, go ahead and expand the sampler so that u can see everything (u kno that little triangle in the top left of the sampler???)...Afterwards, click on the little icon that has a "folder" on it. Click the one on the expanded part tho, not the one thats at the top.

At this point, its gonna ask u basically what file you wanna load?....So navigate to yer samples. Once uve found them, u can hold control and select them all so that they all load into the same sampler, or just repeat the first steps and keep loading new samplers for each sample (doesnt matter really).

Thats it tho!.....Once you loaded that sample, u should be able to play the sample which will be mapped across all the keys of yer keyboard or the virtual one on the prgm......

Now you just gotta tweak and record.

Whoever told you that you "Need" the Matrix to get it to work is a Moron...

Anyway, app you need to do is load the Sample in the Sampler .. Mapp it on Any key or keys you want.. and use it

you have to layer it up my man, click on the sample once it is loaded copy it and paste it, i usually load like 36 layers into it to make it sound load enough...i think that is what you meant, its a bitch tho, cuz if you wanna fuck with the sample with the sampler, you have to do it one at a time, you cant select them all and fuck with them all at the same time, bitch

hmmm do you got a keyboard hookedup stress Cuz if not you gonna have to manually Draw the sample's into the Piano Roll in the Sequencer , but if you got Keys you should just load it up and play it on the keys
