hey guys,

I really should know this and I tried finding out by myself but couldn't get a definite anser...

in Reason, if I have say 2 or 3 MIDI input devices like an Oxygen 8 keyboard and the MPD 16 Drum Pads and something else - how do I switch between them easily? like say I wanna use the MPD 16 for ReDrum and the Oxygen 8 for a piano in NNXT, can I set these MIDI devices to these Reason Devices? Also, so for an NNXT or Dr Drex device with chopped samples and for some parts I want to use my Keyboard to play it and other parts the MPD (i.e. two MIDI devices on one Reason Device) is there an easy way to do that?

thanks!

This was my problem earlier, that resulted with me getting rid of my MPD and Midi mixer, cause it took more time than by just doing it with the mouse. I don't know if there is a way to assign a controller to each type of rack or just a rack, but was later told that i should be able to work around it by buying a midi interface with 1 in and e.g. 2 or 4 outs (depending on how many you need). Otherwise you have to go into the preference setup and change it each time, which is what i found a pain in the ass.

I dont have 3.0 yet, but i kno that before that version u couldnt have more then one device operating at a time without going to the prefs to alternate to the device u wanted to use, i hear they fixed that in the new version tho, so if u got 3.0, u should be straight.
