Just copped reason 4.0...

Once I get my keyboard back from my boy, I'll be on it learning......

Is it worth it?

I'm currently getting the fantom and motif refills for it...

Am I wasting my time learning a new DAW? Or should I just give it a whirl?

Reason users lemme know!!

Got it on DVD..working on some new refills....

Looks pretty dope. I haven't tried it yet, since my keyboard isn't here...I'll have to take the drive to pick it up tomorrow after work.. I look forward to making dirty south music. XD

I'm sure you can w/o pro tools..

I'm actually straying away from protools as much as possible when it comes to production.

well yea I don't need PT, but when I get an interface it's gonna be PT-compatible just because it's the standard and lots a people use it which means it will be easier to open other project files, etc, plus I like PT a little more than the rest of the DAW's for mixing (I havnt tried logic tho). I am too used to mixing with VST's also which you can't do in reason alone

Even with vst's. in pro tools they need to be rtas compatible.
Its rtas plugins in pt not vst's.
Also reason rewires nicely into pro tools, the mixing abilities of pt far outshine reasons.

to my knowledge there is a tool that let's you use the VST format on PT
