Due to its age I'd say the 2000xl has a bit more of a learning curve. Tedious processes for simple functions by today's standards. I'd say the 1000 with the 3rd party JJ0s
however, I agree with Fade. Maschine MK2 for the win.
I'd say the 2000xl because of the history behind it. Damn these things keep their value. That's usually a good indicator of how popular they still are.
