do headshells really matter , i got a numark head shell right now and im gunna be coppin the m447 cart when i get technics soon, i could save sum loot snad skip out on buyin the technics headshell and just use my numark ones, will i be comprimizing the sound if i dod that

from my experience no I believe the headshell has more to do with stability when scratching and performing other tricks

I just use the technics headshell that came with the technics..... I had a stanton headshell before... i didnt really like it.

If you're buying your technics turntables brand new... it should come with headshells. If not, then bring it back the store and demand for it.

yea ur new tables should come with the headshells anyway, but to tbh a lot of the time if i woz DJing somewhere else id just take my 447s attached to the headshell and then just plug then into the tone arm and ive never heard a difference from using different headshells and ive never heard anyone else say anything about it! i spose there might be a very small diff in sound quality but its not guna be noticeable 447s are crap for sound quality anyway so it makes no diff...

the technics are more stable and will skip less especially when performing turntable tricks, or when there is a lot of bass..
