Putting the beat and vocals together

Hey guys I need some guidance,

I have Reason 5, Virtual DJ and Audacity....I have beats I have made on Reason and a Rapper ready to record in my living room. I have a usb mic....is there a specific program I should get for recording vocals and putting the vocals on top of the track? I need a few steps to take for the actually mastering process please!!!!!

you should export your beat stems and mix in the vocal with the other stems in reason. but ive never used it but heres a video

anything that allows you to record vocals in will do the job. i tend to use either cubase or fl studio by preference, each to there own!

I'm not familiar with Reason, but if you can't record vocals in it then just use something like Audacity. It's free and can save the sounds to WAV and other files.

Import it into your favorite DAW and mix in there.
