i mean i think its about time the usa started to get an ass wuppin, so that all them players like kobe start bringing they ass to the tournament.
there were some great players playing (iverson,lebron, tim duncan) but they still managed to lose. i wonder who's gona take it this year.

I think it was well deserved by Puerto Rico. They had the best team effort, and a few great individuals, where USA perhaps had it the other way around.

I saw that game. The US looked terrible. They didn't have one person that could hit an outside shot. It was either cuttin it to the basket or feedin it to Duncan for a fg. Maybe that will wake them up though and show them that they actually have to play to win--they're not just gonna show up shoot some hoops and take a gold back home.

I don't want to start a whole other debate, but I wish the media (and everyone for that matter) would stop calling them the "Dream Team"! There was only 1 "Dream Team".

Besides that though, I think they were terrible yesterday. I think they were playing like it was a rookie challenge game - throwing up alley oops and launching weak shots. I can't wait to see how they play against other teams like Argentina, China (Yao!).

true that lol, did anyone see that pass allen iverson made to God up in the sky?!? i dont think that america gave all the effort either. they had the D stepped up for a while every so often but overall it was weak.

Carlos arroyo looked sick. He is a way underrated point. I saw him drop 45 in college. US has to make jumpers to give duncan some space. Richard Jefferson and Marion look like nervous school boys, those two have missed so many lay-ups. Put in Lebron at least he'll put the team on his back. Fuck Iverson in the Olympics, I like in the league but he is playin week. Lookin for calls. Let D-Wade, Carmelo, and Lebron run. BUt to do that Put in Duncan, and Okafor and rebound.
