your music? i'm a hispanic-italian-irish mutt. i guess i have to get rid of my mpc and xp-80. all this time i thought God gave us these abilties... and here i come to find out that black people came up with it and so have ownership.... maybe i'll start playing percussion for a salsa band, because i have no business making "black" music. my apologes to all- i dont know WHAT i was thinking.

No one mentioned anything about being oppressed?????????It's sounds like you have a lot on your mind and you're looking to start something....No body was complaining about the past Metrosoul made a remark about the Black Panther party being racist and that was responded to.........You're offering your advice and opinions at the wrong time....... And if you didn't know which I'm sure you probally read in a post that you had to write a life story on , Indians are getting reparations .......They all get to attend New York State and City universities for free for their land being stolen from them but what happend to the 40 acers and a mule promised to Black people..........Comparing struggles is the last thing you should be doing truth

PE is not racist, nor is their audience. I saw PE in 91 at the Apollo in Harlem and I am a white skinned Hispanic, and I went with a white friend. Everybody gave us a warm reception and all was cool. 9th row, great show. FYI most of their audience in their heyday were white college kids, so STFU.

Rap/Hiphop, blues, and jazz are all Black music. Other people can make it, and not all black people can, but you have to acknowledge where it came from and who it belongs to, or else you're a theif.

The statement I made was directed to Metrosoul and a lot of people seem to have on their super man cape coming to defend the man.......It wasn't directed towards you elmacco or you Truth told but to metrosoul......If he feels like responding let him respond he's a man just like us and I'm quite sure he can stand on his own two and defend himself so please stop taking things as if were directed at you!!!
