Worked on it... did sound designing for it (in 2008)....got the prototype and the finalized version of it.... still don't like it compared to the real thing but it's good for what it is. they really neglected the pads (that's what kills it for me)

The MPC will always be the greatest thing to happen to hip-hop....But like everything else, it becomes obsolete..and other things achieve the same result with better feasibility...
Yeah. I just wanted it in Kong I guess. Redrum limits you to 10 samples but I guess when I chop samples I rarely need more than 10 banks. It was more about my workflow. Which means I may never get rid of my MPC. 64 sounds per program over 4 banks and you can load up as many programs as your RAM can handle. I just find it strange that software has not been able to mimic something so simple.
