I know people like working together and collabing and probably hook up and form or join production teams . . . Whats Yours ? Oh maybe the next person can post what they think of the last production team and so forth . . .

My Team : Crack City Productions
Producers (2) : DJ Nice & Cappachino
Style : Heavy samplers
Site : www.soundclick.com/CrackCity

My partner and I mesh very well, are styles are different it terms of sampling but also very similar aswell . . . We have found our style and sound and most of tracks carry that sound that lets you know we produced. We have shown many tracks and alot of people have always said our tracks have a similar sound to them (good & bad thing) and lets them know we produced it.

Making good money too :)

i can't produce with anyone else i dont mind working with musicians etc but i hate people telling me wot to do when im a producer thats part of the reason i want to be a producer is your the person that tells everyone wot to do lol

That's actually how I got my start, producing under a vet, he would give his inputs or whatever and bang out tracks. There are advantages and disadvantages but I personally feel that having the input from different angles makes for increased productivity and make the overall sound come out better because you have different ears and opinions.

It's the same as weightlifting, you'll always bench more if you're working with somebody that's pushing you to do more.

Shit ur crazy production teams can be dope as hell. They key is to get if u get 2 producers of equal talent and different styles who have a personal vibe(they can get along and respect each others music)

problems happen is when u get a production team where one person is weak & the other one is dope, or both producers styles are too similar. This sucks cause the weak cat doesn’t contribute anything. Also cats who are insecure about their music also tend to have problems in duo's. First and fomost u got to be able to vibe with collaborator as a person and be a dope individual producer first.(have ur own distinct style).

NOTE: there is a difference between mentoring somebody and being an equal collabing team

when u get 2 producers of equal (high)caliber and they have 2 different styles that shit can be amazing. If you’re a dope producer already, working with someone coming from a different perspective can only enhance ur music. All the great musicians we love and idolize from Bach to ray Charles, to Steve wonder had musicians and writers to help them get ideas out. NO man is an island

I aint gonna put all my business out their but i got some dope ish with a fellow illmuzik member on the horizon. Im still gonna make my style beats on my own (as well as the other person), but when we collab with we will come up with something totally new.(that’s the beauty of it) Big things baby, big things.

If u dont belive me check this site out, its a collaberation effort between 2 of the dopiest underground producers, illmind and S1

Ya acting like every single track has to be done by both partners and that one is going to be demanding the other to do something all the time.

I formed my team with a partner because we have similar styles that mesh well and combined (my beats, his beats, + callabos) we area strong combo. I got my own artists and people I network with, he has his own artists and people he networks with. We both do our own thing as for a production, we never tell the other what they need to do. Suggestions are good ut no demanding with us.

I got nothing to worry about as far as production, I know he's nice thast why I offered him to come on with me . . . Plus a production team can a long way when it's right. Two heads are better than one when both can work together well and both can bring in potential clients and other things aswell.

To each their own but ya made it seem evil lol . . .

Making a beat doesn't take that long, and if I got someone next to me saying "use another kick" I don't want him to get production credit :p

Amen!

If ya'll are not willing to take constructive criticism or recieve a helping hand then how can you offer that to someone else.. i.e. the recording artists... If you're only into beat making it may cool but if you are a PRODUCER you must learn to listen to others, lead and follow... listening is what producing is about... don't take criticism personally.

Oh and Classic... GOMAB!

i think it can work.... as class said, 2 different styles can knock up some crazy shit.... at the mo, im working with my lil brother, trying to teach him the ropes, and hes getting there... he aint the best, but hes got dope ideas, but doesnt know how to pull em off... the best beat ive ever made was produced by the 2 of us, and trust me, its a banger... ill post audio once the tracks recorded....

Peeped the crack city site it was coo yall definitly got similiar styles..

Now i have a partner and we make the tracks 2gether, we both done albums seperatly.
You can yahoo "domingo ramos" and you will find him big salsa singer and excellent musician piano espicially. We work extremely well together we know each others strentghts and weakness. So when it comes to hip hop i will lead when it comes to spanish hip hop and rnb i will let him lead on the melodys.. But 2gether there no beating us he a former band cordinator and once we start getting the budgets watch out for the live music that will be coming from us. Partnerships are good aslong as both of yall is brigning something beneficial to the table.. I mean the single we have coming out for the tego calderon album would have neva been possible if werent together. He would have neva thought of sampling the record that i did for it and i would have neva thought of the dope ass organ line he plays for it.. if you can put your egos aside and focus on the music. 2 heads are always betta than one.. you think dr dre does it all himself

2 here some of our work jus click on the signature.. if not here www.soundclick.com/mlmg

Production teams are cool if you got cats on ya team you can trust. I was part of a production company that kinda went the other way. We had two different mind sets. My man went north, I went south. He ends up with a production deal wit G-Unit...... Me,.....I'm still on the grind. Mad love though to Team BPM!!
