Producer_GyaL said:Yes, the picture of Dantson is cool, no doubt, it is not about that.
Cold, im chill, its just that i dont like the way they turned the thread on how i may be a guy now, "ProducerPerson".
And i dont feel like prooving myself by showing a pic of myself. Not right now anyway. I just dont want them to start a rumor that i may be a guy, understand me, this is so frustrating.
Im sorry if Dj hoppa didnt like the interview because it was too much related to the fact that i am a girl. It was a cool interview and i just hope people will appreciate me for other reason, and not because of my gender. Really Cold, theres nothing else.
PG
Ah... Geeze. I apologize if it was me calling her ProducerPerson that started the riff raff. I DO think that she should embrace her womanhood and let it show through the music. I'm just thinking that everyone is like "WOW! She's a girl", and not even focusing on the fact that she's good regardless. I think it would be an injustice to her to be icon-ized due to her gender. If people focus on that, which she has no control over, how will they ever give truly honest feedback to her? I didn't mean it to take away from the fact that she IS a woman, or to question that fact, or to even consider it.
When I speak of Eminem, He's an emcee. Not a white emcee. Many people won't admit how talented he is because of how he blew up "because of his race". I am a beatmaker... not a "mulatto" beatmaker or mixed-gender or biracial beatmaker. Wings of an Angel is a producer. Not a Jewish producer. I'm sure he wouldn't want to be known for BEING Jewish... NOT that he'd be ashamed of it. Not even that he shouldn't embrace that.. by all means, he should. It just shouldn't be his identity. A person is made up of more than his/her race/gender/religion/etc. To label them under such is really not fair to them. (Which is why I don't like christian rap/rock/R&B/pop... is it sold BECAUSE they are christian? That shouldn't be labeled as a gimmick or whatnot.
The difficult thing for PG is that she will NEVER get justice to her talents because of the mindframe that people are in. EVERYONE will want to look at her as a novelty at first, which is wrong, because she's good... better than alot of other producers I know, male OR female. I can't lie, though. It IS rare to find a female producer. It's not that they CAN'T produce, its that they WON'T produce. PG has an interest in something, she's pursuing that with confidence, integrity, and constructively... Even if she was a guy, KNOWN as Producer Man, you'd probably hear a little commotion... Just for the fact that she is going about this in an honest, respectful manner. She always speaks positively, even when joking around. Her approach is so well mannered and respectable that to some people it comes off as either suspicious or too thought out.
ANYWAY. My point is, If I offended you by calling you Producer Person, I apologize. I know she is a woman. I WON'T let that determine my opinion of her, though. I'll let her good nature itself determine that, which it already has.
By the way, I'm REALLY a woman. I just never had enough confidence to admit it.
