Hi, I have this problem which is very annoying. first of all, i use fl 5 and in 3 of my brass instruments, after a loop ends, the last note just keeps on going for 4 more bars. and its a shame cuase otherwise the beat is good. is there any way i can make it so once the loop ends IT ENDS? becuase now the final note just keeps on going after the loops ends.

thanks.

You have to use the fit feature or mess with the envelope and put the sample in the piano roll... The fit feature is the little number area above the wav structure for that particular sample.. U get me? You know when you drop a sound in and that little menu pops up with your wav data and all them knobs and all that? Its the little digital number area in the left corner of your wav structure (actually above the left corner)... Otherwise you have to mess with your envelope.. That's a little harder to explain without directly showing u..

I dont use Fl, but it sounds like a general envelope parameter to me??...I would just shorten the release or the decay.....Either that or yer softwares tweakin???...But i dunno, it could be somethin that FL cats know about and i dont?...Thats my logical guess tho.

does it go on in the beat or does it go on when your actually beat stopped?

u have to put the note in the piano roll which can be accesed by pressing the button near the top right corner with piano keys on it and it says PR. take your notes out of the step sequencer (the thing with all the boxes inside and where u can find all your instruments) and put the in the piano roll. when u click u get a bar and u wanna extend the bar to as far as u want the note to go. if that doesn't do then ur gonna have to edit the sample.

Put a note at the end of the loop with the volume turned all the way down and make sure "cut itself" is marked in the step sequencer. there are other ways but this always works.
