portable Turntable?

i was thinking of picking up the Numark PT01 porta table. its straight rca so i can plug it into my soundcard. are there any cons to that? holla back.

I just copped the vestax handytracks portable turntable, and it has RCA outputs, the sound is great as long as u get qulaitity cables.

I got the PT01.

I made a post on it after i got that a while back. Im definitely pleased with it. And i would recommend it over the vestax.

loose how does it sound when you plug it up to your soundcard?

It sounds fine. Its got built-in volume control, so its a lot easier then hookin it up throught a mixer. Real clean sound.

Yeah I got one of these too and its pretty cool!

portable turntables are more for digging man. not so much recording from. but if you do decide to record form it, make sure you got a decent needle.

you cant replace the needle the needle with anything besides the one they make for it.

what do you mean? im tryna get this table for diggin' and samplin'. is this a bad idea? im likin' it coz it got the rca outs on it.
