dj swivle: the vocalist do the mixing? i would figure you as the producer would give the vocalist the most finished product possible. better sounding to write to and half of the vocalists out there are completly technically illiterate. If i was you i would talk to some people who do professional mixing and get there pricing. tell the vocalist that here is the beat, write to it, and if you want it professionally mixed then quote them the price the mixing engeneer gave you, plus markup. and give them a stereo file for the beat too. this ensures that its you the vocalist will go to if they want to take it to the next level.
