I agree with MIKELABZ on most of the things he said and I also agree with some of the other opinions as well ... religion is just something to follow in life so you have direction and you know right from wrong (MORALS) .... the basics like don't robb, kill, etc. When you grow up your forced a religion so how do you know whats right? You don't. It just depends on what culture and part of the world you grow up in and around. You follow what your family believed in and so on and so forth. Religion is very general. There are no true facts ... the bible is the game of telephone ...... A story told from generation to generation, twisted & translated into different versions.

because i can only share MY experiences, and information, but i dont trust everything i hear or read because there is always the issue of spin.
i know i have had very real experiences. i have also seen things in the church that were WRONG, period- in every sense of the word.
i have no issue with disagreeing and not seeing it my way, but to throw out things that arent even correct and try and argue against my beliefs, i do take issue with that.

That movie blames the whole death of jesus on the jews and portrays the jews in a bad light. Knowing that Gibson's dad has the audacity to deny that the holocaust ever happened i have to believe that good old Mel can't be too different. That movie is antisemetic and Mel doesn't seem to realize that without Jesus's death, there is no Christianity. So even if the Jews did kill him, and i'm not saying they didn't, they shouldn't be held in such an unfavorable light.

^word. Several of the things you claim are facts.. Any historian, even the atheists, would say are wrong. Science doesnt dispute the fact that Jesus lived and walked the earth, and died on the cross.
