I love early R&B, soul and jazz, guess cuz thats what i grew up around mostly. Majority of my beatz are influenced by these styles. But since i've been beat makin for the past 4 years i'll listen to and appreciate almost anything.
Music I listen the most is Gospel and RnB. But I've just started to listen real soul ( Donny Hattaway, Sam Cooke..). I also listen french music ( Laurent Voulzy, Jj Goldman...) and also some pop rock ( like Vanessa Carlton...).
And a lil secret of mine, my friends can't believe it, I also listen to Enrique Iglesias stuff , it's more because it remind me some periods of my life.
Mama always told you have to be open minded, so I do...

I listen to all types of ish also. I like Metallica, Linkin' Park, Old school r&b, jazz, blues, The Prodigy, some ambient, and groups like Faithless. Right now I'm on some Daydream in Blue by I Monster ish.
Alot of music that I listen to is because I use it to learn how to arrange songs and patterns. My favorite piece is Moments In Love (beaten version) by The Art of Noise. Even though I listen to all types of ish; Hip Hop has always been my love and my way of life.
