Opinion on a new interface

Whats up Ill fam I have been using the m-audio 2496 soundcard since I started making beats in 04'. I feel its time for an upgrade and narrowed it down to two prospects.

The PreSonus FireStudio Mobile

and M-Audio Fast Track Ultra

They both have a good amount of inputs which is what im looking for and at my price range. The PreSonus dosnt have many user reviews on the equipment sites I goto, but the reviews it does have are all positive. The M-Audio has more user reviews but it seems to be hit or miss with the users.

Just want to know if anyone has any experience with these products.

I have used both, the Maudio is more flexible but the Pre amps in the Presonus sound better.

6 of 1 half dozen of the other really.

Oh and if you buy one make sure you get it from Sweetwater, buy it from Luke and make sure you give my real name and he will hook you up.

The last thing I purchased was Ableton live Intro in Feb, and the rep was Mark Stein, and I assume that was the same guy who left the voicemail on my phone friday. I saw the 260 area code and didnt recognize the number so I didnt answer LOL.

Yeah im real excited especially since its something I really need. The only mic I had was a old church/talent show mic my sister got from best buy four years ago. I couldnt be ungratful since she didnt have to get me anything.

Congrads Oz! Yeah the PreSonus having the firewire hookups is definitely a plus but M-Audio gear is that ish!

and Chris, how come you never gave me the hook up (Luke)? Now I'm stuck with Greg...Greg is cool but he's never offered any hookups...lol. I did the research on Greg and he has credits on 2 double platinum albums playing keys for Stevie Nicks (I think). So that makes him officially dope!
