Yeah its not the equipment that makes the producer. So what if you make bangers using FL Studio. or if you make a hot track using an MPC. these are all tools of the trade and your either good with one or the other, (unless your just gifted and can spit out tracks with whatever.)
nobody's fronting when buying equipment. its purchased for a reason, and if they aint making anything great at the moment so what.. their learning. just remember that your beats may be better then some but there will always be beats better then your's
anyways dont think your better then someone until you produce for a true artist in the game and your name get flaunted around on tv or somthing, because we are all in the same fish bowl hommie. this is ILLmuzik!!

I musta done thousands of beats and have hundreds of cats who flowed on em, but lots of em lookin back would be pretty wack now adays.
Hell I did a whole album on the the Triton and I think the thing sounds pretty good, now 6 months ago I thought it was the best thing since sliced bread , then Example very politely pointed out it was all stock sounds on the Triton LOL. I still believe in it but I havent done much else but try and do better ever since.
Having four songs isnt really having alot of weight to come up in getting surly on folk.

Ya, the point of ill is so that we can improve and build of each other. Without criticism you can not grow. You also gotta know we have a bunch of pro's on the boards here. I know of a few people here living on the beats they sell. We have a guy that has worked with puff daddy. Relic/Step is definitely up and coming. I work in media production/audio engineering as my full time gig I make crazy videos FOR A LIVING! Check my site if you don't believe me. The community here is nothing but cool, but you better come correct. I am really working hard on becoming a better beat maker/producer and ill really pushed me to be better they always point out things with my beats that I missed. Ill has really made me step up my game!
