nnxt for drums question

Is there a way to make one sample cut another off in the nnxt? Id use it for a bunch of shit, but mostly I'm just trying to get a good open/closed hi hat sound. Like how you can make chanels 8 and 9 exclusive in redrum, I wanna do that in the nnxt.

It can be done using a Redrum and a nnxt.You use the Redrum to trigger the nnxt.
Use the 8 and 9 channels in redrum.Flip the racks and use the redrum CV gate
input.

set poly to 1 and use retrig mode.
