Most you niggaz is killing me, you acting like 50 cent's first record ever was In Da Club.. Power of a Dollar? Anyone? Go listen to that, and tell me 50 cent cannot be lyrical. He just followed Jigga, Jigga himself said : " I dumbed down my audience and double my dollar" - Moment of Clarity.

Get it straight, if you making music and you're not thinking about the money AND making a lot of money, you're going no where, you'll spend your life selling beats for 200$ to cats in the streets and you'll still be here posting in the showcase.

a little off topic....but i personally love mos def...i think he is def 1 of the most profound lyricist out there, obviously besides the RIP deceased Big L....and i also like jay-z's talent...both business aspect and musical aspect of things...so imma go ahead n say if anything...i really hope jay-z nab mos def into Roc...however...i really dun care bout kanye west...i dunno, his lyrics just dont hit meh, ill admit a FEW of his beats are good tho...

LISTEN : I'M NOT SAYING THAT GET RIGH WAS LYRYCAL, NEITHER THE MASSACRE. I'm saying that 50 cent already proved while in the underground he could spit and now he just want to make money that's appealing to the mass to make money.

Listen to Power of The Dollar. Any 50 cent hater will say that it is a great album lyrical wise. You probably only know "Life's on The Line" from the Get Rich album...that's sad..and even just with that song you can see that he used to be a punchline rapper.

I just went back to listening to Capital Punishemnt, I forgot how good that album was. For me, their styles were completely different. So its hard for me to say which was better. Both are in the top in my book.

Ok...listened to power of the dollar....50's not lyrical....that was a pretty good album...but dog...Nas is lyrical....50 is...mmmm....how would you say.....BASIC.
He does know how to sell....won't lie....but LYRICAL?
