Everything is going to hire/rent. "You will own nothing and you will be happy", until the cost of renting everything exceeds monthly income. Why pay a one off price for software when you can be made to pay forever?

oh I agree with that. But the reality is that we haven't owned software in decades. Think you own Windows? Think again. They are giving you a license to USE Windows.
It's great news! I can run my UAD plugins on my cpu... cause I don't use my Apollo anymore. And I don't need to subscribe for it... just wait fall 2022 cause Windows users always get served last (when they get served) with UAD. But I'm happy still
