DONT READ THIS IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT SAMPLING IS , ONLY READ THE LAST LINE
Sup hector , many are gonna tell me that im misleading you ( im not good at english too ) or giving you bad advices , but if you wanna use my experience , Dont sample for at least 4 years , and when you sampled once or twice , dont continue . It is not a good practice and may kill your creativity , what happened to me was this , i was making shitty beats , i didnt know what sample is , i wrote my own melodies everyday till i learmed it , then ive been improved by myself everyday , for about 2 years , then after i met and fell in love with Kanye West songs , i found out what sample is , i sampled some songs and my beats were all dope , without even trying , then i started to only sample , after some weeks i sitted in front of fl studio and found out , I cant Create Anymore . It took me months to fix this problem , still sampling sometimes pulls me to itself and im trying to avoid it as much as i can .
But , after you practiced making beats by your own and became an expert , you should Try sampling , i mean for a Rap album that you produce you have to know how to sample . Besides the time that it killed Sampling has been really useful to me in other situations ,
The whole point is You should sample not as an everyday practice , you should try it once a month or less just to learn what it is , because it is really useful at some places , but after a while it doesnt improve you anymore , the real everyday practice that makes your beats Legendary is making original beats .
Still , dont accept me if you think im wrong , thats just my experience .
And if you Dont know what Sample is , forget about All i said and continue making beats , itself will come to you on time .
