Well, I don't know when this happened, but it all comes down to your artist trying to control their general geographic location.
If you want to get picked up by a major label, you have to own your city, state and general geographic location. Music Industry 101 type shit.
They have their folks sending shit out to every possible mixtape dude on the planet, who knows.
Turns out they are affiliated with Zaytoven, who produces Gucci's shit. Either way, they're set but will probably fuck it up like most rappers out there when they get 3-4 years in the game.
