Whassup! Been lurkin here for a few days and decided to start posting.
I’ve been building beats since I was about 16 when I first got hold of an old Amiga with Octamed 8 back in the early/mid nineties.
I was chief beat maker/producer for a hip hp act around at that time and spent my time mocking up beats on the Amiga then going into the studio and reproducing them (just to cut down on time/money.)
Our act played live at many venues through out the nineties until we decided to call it a day. I’ve now got back into the game recently with the lead MC of the same act and am now creating beats in Soundforge + Magix to master in an associates full studio setup.
I’ve already learnt a fair amount from lurking here and hope to learn a lot more.
