Need help with wiring/signal flow...

Can someone please help/explain to me how I should be routing and syncing my signal flow, I have an MPC1000 which is the centerpiece of the studio where everything happens, I also have an E-MU Proteus 2000 sound module, that I would like to control with my Yamaha DGX-500 keyboard...how should I hook and set all this up to work right?

Midi out of the yamaha into the midi in of the emu. Line out (1/4") of the emu into line in (1/4") of the MPC1000.
