use the time compression expansion tool .. better yet .. if u have 7.4 , use the elastic time thingy .. that will make ur tempo able to go to 150. lay out your mix the way u want it, then export each song by itself .. just move the markers, export, move the markers, export..etc... then just make sure when u burn the disk u put no space in between the tracks, or u could even crossfade them togther by a few ms so they blend perfectly into one another without no stops. almost any cd burner program allows u to do that.

Ash how do you set track markers ? Im using 6.4 LE, if you know.

Oh wait I see what your saying hiighlight each song, and then export the wav file(bounce) then go back and set no space between songs..

you can change the tempo within the session and track each song with the appropriate tempo as one long bounce (each song following each other). when recording bands that have drummers that can play to a click track, tempo change is done all the time.

i believe you have to set markers for each song and then set the tempo change. either use slip or grid mode. but since you are using an older version i can't say. never used beat detective but it might help

rel: the only track markers that I am aware of are within the elastic features of 7.4. Though I am not sure if what I use as track markers to timestretch (via elastic time) are also used with other applications in pro tools, so not completely sure.

wiz: use adobe audution for change the tempo leaving the pitch the same. once you have adjusted the tempo of each file within audution then import them in pro tools.
