Need everybodys opinion please...(no music)

So these guys I working with that copped me the Opals, Tlm 103, ect, ect are serious as shit about doing this label...but as we all probably know all too well trying to pull in captial off music alone takes some time...This guy has real money and is willing to spend it as long as we're making it back and then some...Long story short I'm getting back into locking down venues and throwing shows...What I wanted to ask you guys is to kinda help me brainstorm a list of artists that you think people would come out to see...It could be ANYBODY....miami has a VERY diverse scene, I mean my buddy made a killing off kool keith and lil b, then turned around and did reakwon and guilty simpson...

Help me out guys whose hot right now? Who have you seen pack a club in your town...money isnt a problem so any idea is a good one...I got strip club venues, club venues, warehouse venues, performance hall venues...I just need some ideas

i dont know... off hand, being in NYC underground... i would say Immortal Technique and Poison Pen. Tech packs the house, and sometimes brings Pen with him.(i thought u said "no music" lol).

as an ex miami resident via NJ we both know there's alot of people from NY /NJ in the area. So if i was living there again, being away from the concrete jungle (lol) i'd like to see Nas , AZ, Redman or LOX (for the 25+ crowd). or maybe a local / commercial rapper like Ace Hood or plies for the college / young un' crowd.

If you want to generate lost lasting capital doing hip hop shows,
start a battle league in the area.
The YouTube Views alone would help you promote each event relatively cost free.

Since you have the financial support, giving out $500 - $1000
for prize money for tournaments would build big buzz quickly.

Adding commercials that run regularly would be overkill.
It's great because you can basically sell out shows without
booking a celebrity or signed act.

For $1-2000, you can book the "big names" from other battle leagues
and fly them in for Grand championships, "Playoffs" etc.

As far as other booking ideas:

Wiz Khalifa will sell out shows everytime.
ASAP Rocky would do well since he's been touring w/ Drake
Floyd Mayweather hosting your club will sell it out.
Digable Planets just reunited, they do good numbers touring wise
Fresh Fest "Legends" shows always do well.
Doug E. Fresh, Kane, Biz or Kid Capri as DJ, Salt N Pepa, you can book
for $30-$40 grand and sell out a larger venue.

True...I'm actually in the process of doing the battle league deal right now...My guy down here LMS (who is fucking raw, ya'll should youtube him for real) he's got a league called "Art of War" thats doin aiiiiiight like 1000 - 3000 views... on the the best battles...I'm gonna front the cash for the headliners, recoup, and then split the profits with him since he pretty much takes care of those shows I can plan another show the same month...Someone down here already beat me to ASAP Rocky and Digable Planets tho...great ideas.
