aight so i'm at a university right, and I nearly got written up for bringing my krk5 and rp10s setup in. me and my boy were droppin some beats when some bitch from the floor beneath me came up last night banging on the door. She, then without time for us to give a response, came barging in the door and yelled some more. it was 1:00 in the morning, but thats besides the point.

ANYHOW, i want to soundproof my fcuking dorm right now, because really once you go rp10, theres no turning back. where should i start? bass traps? wall treatment? i dont know man, what would you guys do? (except for shit in front of her room.)

ps. this morning the resident hall director met up with me and my roommate, and said that we'd get kicked out if it happened twice more. what do i do!?

If you get kicked outta school for making beats (which is fucked up...but hay! they make the rules and plus, your'e there to learn not make beats) you'll feel real crazy at the end of the day. Wait until the weekend or some shit. Cats trinna to study late on a Tuesday night might be distracted by your music that late at night and might find it hard to concentrate. I know you wanna get busy making music but first you gotta feel out your surroundings and work around the haters that might squeel you out.

put it on the volume that you think is reasonable then go downstairs barge in (in daytime) and stand there and listen, when she freaks tell her :
"SSHHHH Im trying to see the effect of the bass so I can stop it from being loud here"
At that point you will know how it sounds down there and you can adjust acordingly , making sure to always barge in using the same line.

hahahahahahahahahahahah man my personal favorites are just bang her, or play the humpty hump on repeat and leave for lunch. hahah yeaa but seriously man? headphones!? what a waste. oh and the rp-10 is the sub btw, and everything goes through walls in every diretion its retarded. i go to the university of arizona btw, but damn the nights lare ike the best time to do any of that music ish. you know when your drunk of tiredness and lyrics just flow. hahah idk maybe its just me, but yea i'm feeling it. yea thats what i'm thinking though just use the sub on the weekends and keep the krk5s rokin the day. headphones at night. it justs a pain in the ass switching up the wiring so often cause i gotta get on all fours ccrawl under my bed and do all this shit. its annoying, but i guess i'll have to deal. :/
