I just picked this up and let me tell you its banging. 9th Wonder did all the beats for it, its funny as hell cause the first track Murs is like "AND IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW ALL THE BEATS ARE MADE ON FRUITY LOOPS" hilarious. anyway if u see this record in yah shop pick it up its worth the 10 bucks there charging for it.

im dissapointed with this release even though i like 9th and Murs heaps. well i think 9th is terribly overrated but is good and i think murs is really dope.

i think the beats all sound too similar. thats the problem with 9th wonder. there are a couple of stand out beats but most of them are just hard hitting drums and bass and an atmospheric sound.

murs doesnt sound up to scratch either. doesnt sound as amped up as usual.

dont get me wrong this is still worth bumpin but im comparing this to other 9th wonder and murs songs.

on a whole i think im more dissapointed with the beats than the rhymes. but yo this isnt a bad release. i just had high expectations

yeah, i was thinking i would hear a comment like that...see i really dig murs cuz i got into his music back when i really started lovin tha living legends stuff, so ive heard all tha stuff hes dropped prior being a fan, and now that hes defjux - it seems as tho he has been trying new things, tha 9th wonder album being one of them....I still gotta hear it for myself to get an opinion tho...

i dont agree, with an such enormous musical output like the legendsguys you just cannot satisfy everyone and in particular not legendsheads or sampleoverflooded freaks like us. its just a step, just an ep and its not bad, nah forget that its good, were just spoiled with to much stuff. get it, hear it , rate it, judge it.
btw, the track about his shot homie s realy deep.

I thought the album was kinda refreshing, but it doesn't compare to Risky Business or Murs Rules The World. The only gripe I have is 9th puttin in all the vocal samples. I mean every track has some sped up vocal.

Deuce does Good music kill The End Of The Beginning? End Of is dope but i found a couple of the tracks to be a bit cheesy. mainly that track about shopping.

ive heard a bit of really old school living legends with murs and its raw as fuck

it could be eligh. he did alot of production for LL back in the day didnt he? i find eligh beats to be phat but can be monotone at times.

Eligh, Grouch, or maybe Sunspot Jonz, on the LL site it doesn't have production credits. I also just picked up the new GROUCH & ELIGH no more greener grasses and its hot.

yeah, its most likely eligh or tha grouch or maybe psc??....And, yeah Droopz, i copped that G&E when it came out too and its def. a banger....And in retort to yer question in one of tha other threads...NO, i haven heard tha new Z-Man album yet, jus a fews songs, i heard its real good if yer a sacred hoop and 99th fan....I bought tha merch album he was selling on the fullcircle tour when i saw him with hiero, but i still need to cop dope or dog food... :(.....I think i like everything that z drops tho...hes got way too much character to not feel, that dudes hella cool in person too, and is jus a funny perved out fool from tha bay if you kno what i mean?....

Hey saw Living Legends a couple weeks ago at South By Southwest (SXSW.com) here in Austin. I've seen them a bunch of time and they really came correct again. Haven't copped the new Murs but thanks for all the info on it. The show was funny cuz it was Murs birthday that day and they smashed a cake in his face after we all sang happy b-day to him and he blew out the candle...LOL.

And I'm pretty sure you guys are right about who made the beats on the older albums.
