mpd control assign

anyone knows how to assign battery/cubase midi controls to knobs and faders of an mpd24?

help would be appreciated

The MPD already has those 2 installed as presets; do you mean you want to assign other stuff to it from those programs?

yea exactly, for instance volume/envelope controls for specific battery cells to the knobs

Shit, I can't remember off hand, I did it for Sonar but not Cubase. Isn't there an option in the software that comes with the MPD?

i think ive got it. just right click on a control in battery, the automation window opens. check the "midi learn" option. led starts blinking, turn the desired knob.
