Setup Help

hey i have a real problem here and i hope that i can get some help.......i just got a 1k and i need help setting it up in my studio........this is what i have and what i am trying to do......so here we go.....

AKAI MPC 1000 (V.2.10)
YAMAHA MOTIF ES RACK
ROLAND S-10 MIDI KEYBOARD

now what i would like to do is play the piano keys and all those sounds from the module with the midi keyboard.....but then i would like to be able to play it on the mpc as well....i am using hte MPC as the sequencer........another problem is how do you change the midi channels in the MOTIF ES RACK to match that of the MPC.......every time i try to change the sound......and i think i have changed the midi channel.....it changes everything......example.....keys on channel 1 track 1......when i change to track 2 channel 2 and then try to change the old key sound ..... track 1 gets changed as well.........SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME......... i really have alot of questions but i dont have anyone to answer them ...............PLEASE HELP

Morfeeus relax this is just a midi thing...which I suck at...I have to have people come over and hook my shit up for me because I am pathetic when it comes to midi.
BUT the GOOD news is that I KNOW this is easily curable and there are people more than qualified to run you through this in probably 6 steps or less.
Take a deep breath and stop sweating its cool.

Motif Channels

the video was helpful for the cable connections....but i still have another major problem....and maybe CLASSIC you can help me cause you do have a MOTIF...... i dont know how to change the channels........on the MOTIF......whenever i change the channel on the MPC from 1 to 2 ..... whatever i had on 1 changes with whatever i put on 2 if you know what i mean.....i dont know where in the MOTIF to do this and the manual is not as user friendly as i thought......so could you please help me there

nobody had responded to really help in the troubleshooting area FADE so i reposted it in the MPC area in hopes it would generate more of a response
