i'm not going to front, i knew nothing about that machine. at the time everyone was screaming mpc, triton, motif, etc. so i copped a mpc 2000xl and a motif, then went on to get the 4000. then i went and copped reason. now that i'm older and wiser i realized you can be a dope producer no matter what you own...i don't regret any of my purchases by any means because i'm a "gear head" anyway...i just like to have different sounds...by the way "big d", what part of "va" you from???

Personally, and I'm in the minority here, I'd cop the MPC3000.

oh, i'm not dogging the 3000, that's still a dope machine...

oh, i'm not dogging the 3000, that's still a dope machine...my thing is if he's going to pay $1400 for it, he might as well get the mpc 2500 for like $500 more brand new, warranty, and more features. (feel me?) just my opinion though...

I know what you mean- I wasn't talking about you or anyone else in particular.

What I'm trying to say is that you can cop an MPC3000 in very good condition for about 1200 bucks, leaving the price difference to spend on other stuff (*cough* vinyl.)

ha, i like how you threw the "*cough* vinyl" part in there. you do need that vinyl though. if not you have nothing but a cold studio...
