OK folks what up

I have and MPC 2000xl(who dosent) and I just purhcased Cubase SX and a M-audio firewire 410.
What are some things that I can do? Before I ve stayed completely on the MPC (besides chopping samples on soundfounry) and Im just interested in some options or setups that i can use.

I know i have to figure it out own my own, thats the best part. But i wanted some feed back

Any suggestions would be helpful

p.s. when is the showcase gonna be back up! I wanna post baby.
everyone seems to use soundclick when they battle. Is that free??

Well since you have the MPC & Cubase you can now Sync the two together using MTC
Midi Time Clock

Basically, you can have it where in Cubase when you hit record the MPC will begin running its Sequence in Song Mode.

Just make sure you set up a empty bar before the "real sequence" begins to give it the milliseconds that it needs to sync up.

On the M Audio Firewire deal you running, I am not familar with it.

I would just review the manaul on the options it has to interect with other Midi devices.

(All Sound Interfaces aren't made alike some have really tight shitz you can do with them. And the high end ones often have decent Monitoring & Digital Mixer software included.)

Steez

hey man
the shit is pretty tight. I just took it with me on spring break and its great. what makes it fun us u have the abitltiy to hook up 2 microphones and 2 headphones. So me and my friends were jamming on my labtop. its sturdy and i like the knobs. only thing that sucks it that it only has one set of stero inputs

i would give it a 8 1/2 that just casue of the lack of inputs. Right now it my main recording/tracking device untill i innverst in an interal sound card.

if u have any specfic questions holla back

class....
