U gotta chill with the multpul posts. Also use the seach function casue this topic has been touched on many times in detail

the first thing i would do in yourcase is really go back and read up on MIDI and audio. becasue your obiviously confused.

IN order to save somthing as a wav file u have to
record the audio(not midi) from your MPC into your computer threw your sound card. Usually u can record into some sound editing software(CUBASE,protools, soundforge,Acid, cooledit, etc....)

MIDI is NOT audio, its just DATA. and its not going to play what u expect it to on your computer.

run Audio cables from your MPC into your soundcard

Press record in your recording software
PRess play in your mpc

well it depends what type of soundcard u have. The MPC takes 1/4 inch audio cables, some soundcards take 1/4 inch inputs, some take rca.

If your soundcard takes 1/4 inch inputs(mine does) then u just by that cable
if ur soundcard takes rca inputs then u get a 1/4 inch to RCA cable.

It really just depends, one of the first things u need to do as a begginer is invest in a good soundcard. Thats the foundation for a good sound since everytthing will run threw that.

www.musicanfriend.com

has soundcards cables and all types of other stuff

If your not set up right now to record to your soundcard, there is a work around. Once you got the sequence sounding the way you want. press the 'mode' button, then the 'record' pad. On the record screen change the input to 'main out'. Set the time for how long you want the sequence to record. press play to record the sequence. When its finished recording give it a name, assign it to a pad, save it as a sample, and you got yourself a .wav file. Read your manual to direct you on how to record. In my opinion the sound quality isnt great doing it this way but its acceptable. Make sure sometime down the line you plan on recording straight to your soundcard to get better sound quality.
