mpc 1000 or mv-8000?

I've heard a lot about the MV_8000. I'm really thinking about purchasing one. I've own the MPC 1000 and 2000 but left them to collect dust after using my computer more. I want to got back to hardware cause you can get that sound out of a computer. You can emulate it a little but not the same. Well, Thanls for the infornation on the MV.

I have a 1000... and basically if your going to stay sample based, you won't be disappointed with the 1k... everybody is tripping off the MV... I know why though... I just couldn't wrap my brain around the interface. They say once you get started your good. The thing that turned me off from it was the loading time... TAIN

NAMM 2007 starts January 17th and there are rumors going around on the MVNation forums that Roland is going to release an updated version of the 8000. Id be so damn pissed if its a better version, cause I just dropped 1100 on a near mint 8000 off of ebay.
