I plannin' on coppin' a Motif ES rack as alil graduation present. I was wondering how how this equipment will hook up to my laptop.

Im guessin' there's some way i can use the sounds off the Motif ES rack on my Oxygen 8 keyboard.

I have Zero experience with racks. I was wondering how will all this work out. Is Oxygen 8 a good companion for the Motif rack? And do i need to buy any extra shit?

yeah midi out ur oxygen to midi in on the rack and have the audio out from the motif go to your soundcard .. u can also hook up ur motif to your computer via usb for midi control if you want

You could do what Ash said or...

Hook up the Rack's audio out to the audio in of your soundcard and then have your MIDI controller connected USB so that you can control more than just the Rack sounds.
