exaclty, from what ive seen NYC is mainly hype becasue its "new york" just like anywhere it has its areas but as a whole the city is nice. Broooklyn is nice as hell man. Cant wait to move there.

I live by compton and yeah its pretty rough. but it all depends on where you go. compton got a nice area too. pretty weird when you go through that area. And what they say is true too. dont get caught wearin' the wrong colors in the wrong hood or your ass is pretty much dead. but why the hell are we talking about the worst hoods? everybody's gonna think that they're hood is worse than the others. it makes no sense. but yeah i did hear that bmore is pretty bad. so are we just talking about american cities coz i've lived in the philippines and i gotta say, PASIL CEBU CITY MAYNE!! 14 yo kids will kill you for your shoes so they can trade it in for some fish and a lil bit of rice. just a days meal. that whole place smells like rotten flesh mixed with raw fish. but if ya want some of the best bootlegged DVD's, music, cheap ass car audio; that was the place. foreigners would go there to try to preach and shit and would end up getting stabbed and robbed for their shit. man! now that i think about it that place was shitty as fuck. makes american ghetto's look like disneyland.

Worse that newark and jersey city put together, Jersey cats know. IM from Newark and JC my second home but i dont fuck around in camden shyt they had to close the camden Rutgers. Aside from that tho I hear B'more is some thing serious, and i heard St. Petersburg and Fort Myers i believe in FL are grimey too. NYC aint that bad Holmz is rihgt on that i c more cops then eva BUT going back early 90's late 80's NY was something serious

I can only say if its not Newark NJ then its Plainfield NJ.
I had the wonderful experience of watching some dope dealer walk out the boom spot(in plainfield south) and flip a knot of dough into a cop car to keep up on when they would be raided.
You can sit on the front porch all day and never see the same shit twice, however NYC burroughs are the same but even more intense.
This after my man told me that was gonna happen.

Blew me away.
Knot went in window rolled up cop left back to business.
No diss but the whole town looks night of the livin base heads.

My DJ is from there and took me back with him to see.

Well, groups of people normally aged anywhere from 12-18 [sometimes even older if they're sad enough] go out in groups and beat the crap out of someone or set them on fire, stab them, steal from them, hit them with random objects, run them over etc for no reason whatsoever and film the whole thing with camara phones - to show to their friends when they get back to their estate or in school or whatever.

The worst part is that is something that occurs extremely regularly and all around the country. You really don't have to live in a 'rough' areas to whitness or hear about this either. All for absolutely no reason at all of course.
